The Heart of BLC

“Equipping Women to Live As Disciples of Christ.”

What We Hold To

Christ-Centered

Jesus is our focus. We seek to live for His glory under His Lordship.

Biblically Grounded

The Bible is our authority. All we do is an overflow from God’s Word.

Relationally Driven

We value intentional relationships, which are foundational to living a sanctified life.

Lifelong Discipleship

We are committed to helping others love the Lord and walk closely with Him.

Where It All Began

Becoming Like Christ began in 2005 in Orlando, Florida when Jennifer Adamson, a women’s ministry director, sensed a calling to help women grow in Christ through long-term discipleship, dependence on the Holy Spirit, and deep friendship with other women.

After prayerfully adapting the curriculum of Christian Leadership Concepts (CLC), she invited 11 women into a multi-year discipleship experience that would become the foundation for BLC.

The Journey Together

From One Group
to a Movement

What began with one small group of faithful women has grown into a movement. Since 2005, over 1,300 women have participated in BLC groups across multiple cities.

Each woman who completes the journey carries the transformational impact into her home, church, workplace, and community, multiplying disciples who multiply disciples.

Monica Rogers is the current president of Becoming Like Christ. She experienced BLC firsthand as a participant before feeling called to lead the ministry.

Her personal transformation through the BLC journey drives her passion to see more women experience the same depth of faith, community, and calling.
